Author Guidelines

Research Review Journal of Educational and Physical Excellence (RRJEPE) invites authors to submit original manuscripts in the fields of Education, Physical Education, Sports Sciences, and allied disciplines.

All submissions are initially evaluated by the Editor to determine their alignment with the journal’s aims and scope and to assess academic and formatting standards. Suitable manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process before a final decision (Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject) is made. The Editor reserves the right to desk reject manuscripts that do not meet minimum standards of quality, originality, clarity, or relevance.

Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

Authors must ensure that the study design, research framework, and arguments are clearly structured and academically sound. The title should be concise and informative. The abstract must be clear, self-contained, and capable of standing independently. Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

Language Requirements

For manuscripts submitted in Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, or Bengali, it is mandatory to include:

  • English Title
  • English Abstract (200–300 words)
  • 4–6 English Keywords
  • Complete Author Details in English (Name, Designation, Institutional Affiliation, City, State, Country, Email, Contact Number, ORCID ID if available)

Submissions without these required English components will not be processed for peer review and will be returned for correction.

Manuscript Structure

The manuscript must be systematically organized and include the following sections (in regional language where applicable):

  • Title
  • Abstract
  • Keywords
  • Introduction
  • Review of Literature
  • Objectives / Research Questions / Hypothesis
  • Methodology (Research Design, Sample, Tools/Instrumentation, Procedure, Statistical Analysis)
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Recommendations (if applicable)
  • Acknowledgement (if applicable)
  • Conflict of Interest Statement
  • References

The mandatory English title, abstract, keywords, and author details may be placed at the beginning or end of the document.

Formatting Requirements

  • File Format: MS Word (.doc or .docx)
  • Unicode Fonts Only (Mangal for Hindi/Marathi, Shruti for Gujarati, Vrinda for Bengali)
  • Font Size: 12-point
  • Line Spacing: 1.5
  • Margins: One inch on all sides
  • Text Alignment: Justified
  • Page Numbers: Bottom center

Recommended Word Limit:

  • Research Articles: 4000–8000 words
  • Review Articles: 5000–9000 words
  • Short Papers: 2000–3000 words

(Word limit excludes abstract and references.)

References

References must follow APA 7th Edition guidelines. Authors may list references in the original language; however, English transliteration is recommended. DOI numbers must be included when available, and references should be arranged alphabetically.

Ethical & Publication Policy

  • Authors must obtain permission for copyrighted materials.
  • All listed authors must provide consent.
  • Research involving human or animal subjects must have prior ethics committee approval.
  • Proper citation of all sources is mandatory.
  • Similarity index must be below 10%.
  • All manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening before peer review.
